Julie has 29 years of combined Big Four public accounting and industry
experience. Prior to founding Davis Kim Lee & Associates, LLC, she
spent more than five years at the Senior Director level, directly
responsible for revenue recognition and reporting at VERITAS Software
Corporation and at Cadence Design Systems, Inc. In those roles, Julie
provided deal-structuring guidance to Sales and Strategic Alliance
organizations, worked with cross-functional teams chartered to improve
quote-to-cash operational processes, made determinations about
revenue recognition for complex, multiple-element transactions and
worked closely with the company’s independent auditors to ensure
agreement. She has also participated in the implementation and
compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, for the revenue cycle.
Julie spent 11 years with Apple Computer, Inc. in a variety of technical
and business unit accounting organizations. Her background also
includes three years with Arthur Young’s Silicon Valley office serving a
variety of clients, including Intel and Linear Technology Corporation.
Julie graduated from the University of Santa Clara with a Bachelors
degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance. She is a licensed CPA in
the State of California (inactive).
